I have a pretty basic skin care routine. I legit use 3 skincare products on my face. The third doesn’t even count, really, because it’s make up remover and I use that once every event/blog post (honestly ) . You can consider me a face minimalist . I think healthy skin is a far more worthwhile approach to flawless skin, than pilling tons of make up on top of it.
STEP 1: Cleanse
Any, emphasis on ‘ANY’ good face wash will do. For me , the Neutrogena pink grape fruit daily scrub does it. Also , Clearesil daily face scrub tends to do the job but that ran out so it’s Neutrogena for the next 6 months or so. Just wash your face well and gently ( put the nails away , no need for drastic measures).
STEP 2: Moisturise
Now I know people tone and stuff ( eg mum) but honestly I don’t have the time . So I use a good moisturiser . I have dry skin, but for the longest time I thought it was oily because puberty threw acne at me and I panicked! So, because I have dry skin I use Simple’s hydrating moisturiser . I love simple because it has no artificial colourings , perfumes , harsh chemicals it legit has 2 vitamins, glycerin and seed oil -and it works . It gives me no irritation what so ever and my skin is incredibly sensitive .
When I do put make up on, it’s important to REMOVE IT *stop sleeping with your makeup on*
I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing water ( the pink bottle) as my makeup remover.
It’s make up remover /cleansing water , it’s hypoallergenic , I like it . That’s all I’m going to say about that .
Also, DRINK MORE WATER .
PS: This is a fun ,helpful section I thought to add to the blog . The posts shouldn’t ever be too long , so they will make for an easy read .
